Hi folks, Steve Rouse here. Well, it’s taken me a while to figure out the “next thing”, but I believe I have with these stories. From growing up in a small town in the 50’s and 60’s to a crazy morning show and our band, to an organic farm and a slightly scandalous BnB, I’m sharing my journey with all the humorous twists and turns this old baby boomer has experienced along the way.  Plus, I share a lifestyle, we call “Steve Style” full of growing veggies, having a flock of chickens, keeping bees, heating with wood,  cutting firewood, and being one of Mother Nature’s closest friends.

Listen in the car or read and watch at lunch, in bed or sitting on the … you know. I hope you enjoy!

Today Tom Davis will be inducted into the Orioles Hall of Fame. I worked with Tom for 17 years. I was with him in a small room for four-five hours everyday.  I learned about this man during all that time together: He loved sports and as a young man dreamed of following in the footsteps of his local broadcasting heroes.  People like Chuck Thompson, Vince Bagli And Ernie Harwell. He loved his hometown of Baltimore. ...

Hi Internet Friends, it’s me Pepper Rouse. That’s my stupid brother Walter next to me. Thanks to Walter, Dad locked us in the house. I’m like most girls, about twice as smart as the men in our lives. Dad let us out this morning to do chores and as usual Walter started chasing the chickens. My brother just doesn’t get it! I, of course, realize that if we chase the chickens we will end up...

Camp Baltimore was a parody song I wrote and performed in 1992. The original song was a 1963 top 5 hit by Alan Sherman called Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh about a kid writing home from summer camp.   I thought what if Baltimore was the actual summer camp a kid from out of town would be sent too for a week during summer, what would be some of the highlights?  If you were living in Baltimore...
