Hi folks, Steve Rouse here. Well, it’s taken me a while to figure out the “next thing”, but I believe I have with these stories. From growing up in a small town in the 50’s and 60’s to a crazy morning show and our band, to an organic farm and a slightly scandalous BnB, I’m sharing my journey with all the humorous twists and turns this old baby boomer has experienced along the way.  Plus, I share a lifestyle, we call “Steve Style” full of growing veggies, having a flock of chickens, keeping bees, heating with wood,  cutting firewood, and being one of Mother Nature’s closest friends.

Listen in the car or read and watch at lunch, in bed or sitting on the … you know. I hope you enjoy!

My latest story involves the four year old me and my overwhelming need to get to the ice cream truck I was four years old when my Dad moved our family to yet another new town.  His Father’s burgeoning business, Rouse Construction, had bid on and won a contract for a new elementary school in Newburgh, New York.  This was the largest contract the growing company had to date, and it was the first time my...

Lots of shenanigans happened on the Rouse & Co Morning show… Maynard remembers the time we pranked the other Baltimore radio stations by sending a fax that the Oriole’s Baseball opening day had been cancelled (again), and they fell for it! 🤣
