It’s getting to be wrapping up time for the garden as there is a change in the air. It’s getting cooler, the sun’s a lot lower and the days are getting shorter.
🍅 There’s still a few of the last ripe tomatoes hanging on the vines.
🥕 Leaving the carrots and beets in the ground where they will store just fine until a hard frost.
🥬 Lettuce will still grow until frost.
🥦 The Cole crops are mostly chicken food after the cabbage worms did a number on them.
🥔 My late potatoes really took a long time to get going. We’ll probably just get some little guys out of those.
I’ll do a final report card in a couple of weeks.
