You might remember me from my broadcasting career, namely The Rouse and Company Show. Perhaps you know me as Farmer Steve from your visits to our farm. Others may remember me from my music career and the parody songs. Oh, and I should welcome those of you who don’t have a clue who I am. I think you’ll get to know me pretty well after reading or listening to a few of my stories.
I just loved your show! I listened every day on my way to work. The day you went off the air, I cried. What can you say? All things change. Thanks for the memories.
The morning show was the best. It was always a good way to start the day. Miss the parady songs, you, Linda, Maynard and of course the Love Machine, Tom. Always enjoyed Tom’s intro for Four Tops songs. Thanks for those great memories.
Such a good memory of those mornings! That’s when it was fun to listen to the radio on the way to work! I was the one on the Maryland Mentors committee that suggested you to MC. Thanks for all the joy you have given to others.
Thanks man! I appreciate your comments and especially getting me a gig!

HI Steve,
Miss visiting at the farm….you had the best eggs! And your veggies kept us supplied during COVID. We now do a CSA from Flying Plow with some of the same vendors you had.
I still remember the first time I saw the sign and stopped in your farm for eggs. There was something about your voice that was familiar. It wasn’t until I was driving away down the road that I made the connection to one of my favorite broadcasters on my favorite station WQSR!
Thanks for the walk down memory lane. Looking forward to following your writing and future podcasts.
Thanks you guys. It’s a walk down memory lane for me too!

Always the best part of every Friday! Each week was different, but always made the end of the work week get off to a good start. With 17 years of Fridays to choose from, I certainly would not mind you posting a different one every week. Thanks for the accompanying great photos and rekindling great memories, Steve.
Ok, let me get this straight, you want me to try to find 884 different versions of the Frog Song that we did. I’ll get right on it.
Honestly, I think that’s the only one I have.
Thanks Debi
