Now that the dust has settled after the Orioles Hall of Fame Weekend, and the induction of my former show mate Tom Davis, a few photos I took at Friday’s Hall of Fame luncheon in the warehouse at Camden Yards.
My grandson Jacob-He looks so happy! That’s the day before I backed into his car.
I had the great privilege to sit next to WJZ’s Ron Matz. I thought so highly of Ron over the years, I tried to emulate his hair style and finally got there!
Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher and veteran broadcaster Jim Palmer introducing Tom. Jim told the story of being in Oakland with Tom for a game and came down for breakfast at 9am to find Tom eating a Boston Cream Pie. “Are you having a Boston Cream Pie for breakfast?” Jim queried. Tom replied, “It’s noon in Baltimore!”
